Chambord Castle or the château of Chambord is one of the most magnificent architectural and historical features in France. It was built on the Cosson River near the Blois and it was the place where a lot of French kings used to spend their time in past.

It is especially known to be a favorite place for king Louis XIV. This amazing castle was built in 16th century and it was a proof of the squandering nature of most of French kings. It contains 440 rooms and, when horses were used for traveling, it could host 1200 horses.

This amazing architectural structure with huge historical value is today owned by French government who bought it back from an Italian Ducal family of Parma in 1932. Despite the fact that almost 500 years have passed since it was built, this building still remains stable and glorious as it was in time of its construction.

This rock has not much more usual than every other rock. It is just special by its placement, it seems that it is example of perfect balancing act found in nature. It can be found in Burma at the Moun Kyaiktiyo.

Local people are known to give sacral value to anything unusual so it was similar with this rock. They have melted the gold (despite the fact that majority of people in Burma are very poor) and covered whole rock with it and gave it name Golden Rock. They even declared it third most sacred place in Burma.

On the top of the rock they built a little pagoda which is also covered with pure gold. This nice example of balance in nature really looks astonishing. The rock looks like it could fell every moment but in fact it is pretty stable .

Hopewell Rocks are one of the most famous examples of tidal erosion. Those rocks are also called Flowerpot Rocks and they are located in The Rocks Provincial Park in New Brunswick, Canada.

Those rocks are formed as a consequence of strong tidal forces for centuries. The most interesting part of those rocks, the base, is covered by the water twice per day but it is possible to see them in full shape during the low tide.

During the low tide, Hopewell Rocks look like they are from another world. Their almost impossible shape make them to look like they are actually made by humans. Some of them look like huge heads with very big noses.

Mono Lake is one of the most beautiful natural resorts where you should go if you are visiting California. One of the most interesting and attractive things which can be seen in Mono Lake are tufa towers which became visible when the water level of the lake fell because of higher demand for water use amongst people who lived in neighbor.

Tufa towers are actually rocks which were formed of carbonate materials. When water level in Mono Lake fell, it left those beautiful towers visible. People who come and see them and don’t know the way how they are formed, will feel like they are in some alien-like environment because of pretty strange and logically impossible shapes of those rocks.
